[2025 Technology Paper Award - TOSIA]

Overview: TOSIA is established to promote industry-academia collaboration, practical research applications, and to encourage innovation in areas such as LED technology, micro-LED, silicon photonics, optical communications, semiconductor lasers, optoelectronic sensors, and emerging compound semiconductor technologies.

Eligibility:

1. Current students from domestic public/private universities and technological universities in relevant engineering fields (undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral students), with student status between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
2. Submissions must be research results published between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2023, both domestic and international, not limited to first-time published papers.

Award Details:

• After evaluation, 4-6 selected papers will be publicly honored during the TOSIA Annual General Meeting (March 2025).
• Selected winners will receive a prize of NT$50,000 and a trophy.

How to Apply:

1. Prepare the following documents:
   • One original application form.
   • Eight copies of the application form.
   • Nine copies of the paper excerpts (in IEEE two-column conference format).
   • One CD or external hard drive containing the PDF version of the paper.
2. Submission Deadline: January 3, 2025 (postmarked).
